Heals Sideboard Designed By AJ Milne Circa 1950s

This is a rare and fabulous looking piece designed in 1956 by AJ Milne exclusively for Heals. The sideboard is crafted with ebonised and steamed beech veneers siting on a distinctive satin black metal under frame which is supported by ebonised legs with accents struts and fixings to present an industrial/modernist style. There are three drawers with wonderful peg handles the top one being for cutlery and to the side a large drinks cabinet. Cheers! The piece is in great vintage condition and exhibits no lose or wobbly joints. There are some very minor age related blemishes however, I am pleased to report that they do not detract from its overall beauty. Stylish and beautiful. What’s not to love?
