Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") carefully before using our e-commerce website (the "Site") operated by Ludlow Vintage ("we," "us," or "our"). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Site.
- Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Site. - Age Restriction
a. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site and make purchases.
b. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement. - Product Descriptions
a. We strive to provide accurate and detailed descriptions of our vintage and second-hand furniture items on the Site. However, due to the nature of these items, variations in condition, colour, and other characteristics may exist.
b. All product images displayed on the Site are for illustrative purposes only.
c. If you have any questions or concerns about a specific item, please contact us for additional information before making a purchase. - Pricing and Payment
a. All prices displayed on the Site are in GBP (British Pounds) and include any applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.
b. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice. However, the price you pay will be the price listed on the Site at the time of your purchase.
c. Payment for orders must be made in full at the time of purchase through the provided payment methods on the Site.
d. We accept various payment methods, and you are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date payment information. - Order Processing and Shipping
a. Once you place an order, we will process it within a reasonable timeframe, subject to product availability.
b. UK Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be provided during the checkout process.
c. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that your purchased items are adequately packaged and shipped to prevent damage. However, we are not liable for any damage incurred during shipping.
d. In the event of any delays or issues with shipping, we will communicate with you promptly to provide updates and resolve the matter as best as we can. - Returns and Refunds
If goods are found damaged on receipt please contact us immediately to arrange a return.
You can return products within 14 days of receipt of the order, providing the product is in its original condition. However, you will bear the cost of returning the goods suitably packaged and insured; please obtain proof of posting on returning your order.
You must inform us if you are returning your item within 14 days of receipt of goods. Returns will be accepted within 14 days of the date you have informed us of your intention to return the items.
Please include a copy of your order confirmation with your parcel as proof of purchase.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to you via your original method of payment.
Please note that vintage items are not sold as new and are likely to show signs of wear and tear. This is not sufficient grounds for a refund.
If an item is returned damaged, altered or in an unsuitable condition we will not be able to process the refund and may send the item back to you and ask you to cover the delivery costs. All items are inspected on return.
Acting under the consumer rights act 2015, customers may return faulty goods that are damaged or the listing on the site is materially inaccurate, misleading or misrepresent the goods. In these cases the customer must provide photographic evidence and the order must be rejected on arrival.

Non-returnable items:
1. Items not in their original condition, damaged or with missing parts for reasons not due to our error are non-refundable.
2. Items returned outside the time parameters outlined above are non-refundable.
3. Items will not be accepted for return when the dimensions or other characteristics do not fit your requirements. We strongly recommend that buyers measure all access areas prior to making a purchase.
Can I cancel an order?
If you decide that you have changed your mind and do not wish to proceed with the purchase before the goods have been collected/dispatched you will need to contact us immediately so that the collection/dispatch can be halted and a refund can be processed. If you cancel the order after collection/dispatch the delivery costs are non-refundable.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirmation.
If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to you via your original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account again. Refunds take up to 14 days to appear on your account. Please contact us if you have any concerns.
Delivery quotations for large items
We offer the convenience of a click through button to Proovia for a quick and easy delivery quotation. You may choose to use another provider. In all cases we will not be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred by your chosen courier.
Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

- Product Availability
a. The availability of vintage and second-hand furniture items listed on the Site is subject to change without prior notice. We cannot guarantee the availability of specific items at all times.
b. In the event that an item becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will notify you and provide alternatives or issue a refund for the unavailable item. - Intellectual Property
a. All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, and software, is owned or licensed by us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
b. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, or otherwise use any content on the Site without our prior written consent. - Limitation of Liability
a. To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Site or any products or services purchased through the Site.
b. Our total liability for any claim arising out of this Agreement or the use of the Site shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product or service in question. - Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. - Modifications to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms. - Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
