Chest Of Four Drawers Circa 1950s

This galleried chest of drawers displays some beautiful quartered walnut veneers that lift this piece above the ordinary. The whole is wonderfully made with solid dove tail joints to the drawers and lovely original drop handles on the drawer fronts. The piece sits on four cabriole legs. The veneers are in good order displaying only very minor age related fading and blemishes. There is some minor lifting of the veneer on the gallery however I am pleased to report this does not detract form the overall look. Great craftsmanship what’s not to love?
