Eames Ottoman Circa 1990s
These beautiful ottomans were created by Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s they were designed with the aim of combining an elegant appearance with ultimate comfort. This example is a recreation of this classic design and is made using virtually the same methods and is recognised as a great classic of twentieth-century furniture design. The bent plywood and leather base sits on an aluminium column and four legs. The leather is in great period condition and the plywood base displays no cracks or stress fractures there are a couple of very minor scuffs to the wood however, I am pleased to report they do not detract from the wonderful look of the piece.
Great style what’s not to love?
