Ercol Sideboard Model 455 Circa 1960s

This is a beautiful looking piece crafted from solid elm it displays all the wonderful grain that you would expect from this material. The 455 sideboard is referenced in the 1965 Ercol catalogue. The two cupboards, one of which displays the blue Ercol badge, have adjustable shelves. The top drawer of the centre nest of three has a sliding cutlery tray with adjustable dividers. The whole sits on castors for ease of movement. This wonderfully made piece is as well finished on the back as it is on the front and can be used as a room divider. There are a few minor age related blemishes however, I am pleased to report they do not detract from the overall excellent look. Great quality what’s not to love.
