Edwardian Bamboo Stick Stand Circa 1900s

This is a wonderful looking three section stick stand crafted from Tortoise bamboo. The piece sits on four legs with a cross stretcher support. The base support still holds the original zinc drip tray.What makes this example stand out from the crowd are the beautiful art nouveau tiles which are in excellent order. The tops of the supports have a stylised rose cartouche attached which only enhances the decorative look.The whole is in solid condition displaying only minor age related blemishes which do not detract from the overall look.
