Silver Dressing Table Clock Hallmarked1927

This is a beautiful looking clock made by AL Davenport and hallmarked in Birmingham in 1927 during the reign of King George V. The movement is Swiss and has a wonderful tick. Due to its age it doesn’t keep perfect time but at nearly one hundred years who or what does. The base has a couple of minor blemishes but it does not detract from its overall fantastic look. Stylish, what’s not to love?
