Victorian Mahogany Dressing Table Swing Mirror Circa 1890s

This is a wonderful looking and large dressing table mirror crafted from mahogany. The edge of the base of the mirror which sits on beautifully turned bun feet, has an inlaid band that contrasts with the main body. The mirror plate is excellent condition and the whole swings freely on the column upright supports which are topped with a turned finial. The base has some age related marks where lotions and potions have been placed but this only adds to it's character. How many faces have looked in this mirror when getting ready for that special occasion. What’s not love?
